Upstate Capital is very proud to be a member of the following organizations:
American Prepaid Legal Services Institute: This is an association from the American Bar Association dedicated to the prepaid legal services industry. Upstate Capital provides courses pertaining to Reverse Mortgages and the mortgage industry for prepaid legal plans and other attorneys.
Reverse Mortgage Counseling Association: Upstate Capital Inc. is a member of the Industry Advisory Council. RMCA is a not-for-profit organization of member counseling agencies. The reverse mortgage requires that all prospective borrowers obtain counseling from a certified counseling agency.
National Academy of Continuing Legal Education: Upstate Capital president Michael Wallace is a member of the faculty and produced CLE courses for NACLE. Upstate Capital is a leader in helping to educate professionals about the mortgage industry and specifically the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage.
Coalition for Independent Seniors: Upstate Capital Inc. is a founding member of CIS. The Coalition for Independent Seniors is a non-partisan, non-political public policy coalition dedicated to preserving the opportunity for seniors to stay in their homes and protecting their ability to live financially independent lives.
